mildewy wipes warmer
Okay, so we absolutely LOVE our wipes warmer. Diaper changes have gone from screaming torture to happy playtime since we got it. But I've noticed that my wipes smell of mildew! I use cloth wipes, and washing them gets the smell out, but it comes right back. Is there any cure for this? Switching to disposable wipes would be a pain in the butt--I like just tossing them in the wash with my dipes. What are your wipes-warmer experiences, especially with cloth wipes?

I wonder if you could include a drop or two of tea tree oil into your wipe solution mix to cut the mildew growth? I know it's a disinfectant and I use it in my shower to get rid of mildew. It's supposed to be gentle enough for skin but I don't know about baby skin; I did find some recipes online for diaper wipes that use tea tree oil, but this would be something to check.

Good luck! I HATE the mildew smell. I had to throw away a great humidifier because it kicked out the faintest mildew scent into my room at night. I felt like I could taste it. UGH.

Thanks, I'll try that! I love the smell of tea tree oil.

So...did the tea tree oil thing work?
